SERICULTURE AND MORICULTURE (SILK WORM REARING, POST COCOON TECHNOLOGY AND MULBERY FARMING)
Sericulture is the rearing of silk worms to produce cocoons which are reeled into silk worm threads to make clothes and other fabrics. Before rearing the silk worms, one has to plant mulbery trees or plants on which these worms feed. The growing of these plants is called moriculture.
